(NuPower) to ensure perimeter security at this power generating plant in
LaSalle, Illinois.
Telea Tardito, a division of Fiat Corporation, was contracted to design and build a process control and monitoring system in Brindisi, Italy. Telea selected Impath to supply fiber optic communications devices for its telecommunications network. The system comprises over 40 multiplexers supporting 480 video channels, and 36 voice and data multiplexers supporting both telephone subscriber line interfaces and low speed EIA-232 data communications.
Impath's iVolution series encoders and decoders were installed to communicate video, voice and data over fibre optic cable between a remote oil well drilling platform and the project office on the mainland in Indonesia.
